In retrospect it wasn't stylish football that proved most decisive, look at the Italians, but rather organised tactical football with alot of heart and only the occasional piece of flair. In my opinion winning ugly is not only worth it, but was very necessary in this World Cup. And considering the English are surely capable of such football, they missed out big time.
