Is it only English players that have this metatarsal bone?!?! Have there been any other cases of players from other countries suffering from this at such important times - if not, what's wrong with our players!?

I wonder if not having Rooney at the world cup takes the pressure off the team a bit? I get the feeling most of England expects less now he's unlikely to be around..
